Ocean World Adventure Park
There is so much to do! Swim with the dolphins, have an encounter with sea lions, sharks and stingrays. You can swim in the same pool as the tigers only separated by glass. There is a coral reef aquarium for snorkeler enthusiasts and a rain forest where you can see rhinoceroses, iguanas and a bird sanctuary. It’s a once in a lifetime experience!
Monkey Jungle and Zip Line Adventures
45 squirrel monkeys posing for pictures, sitting on heads and shoulders, without fear of humans. The more you feed them the more they come to you. The Zip Line Adventures this 280 acre working farm provides a 4,500 foot ACCT Certified Zip Line with 7 Stations and a free fall fan descender dropping almost 60 feet into an ancient cave. You will also tour a five acre botanical garden.
Just off the entrance to the beach of Bahia de Arena. Experienced handlers will take your party on a tour along the sandy beach to the surf beach. You do not have to be experienced. You can make a romantic experience or fun with the kids.
Kite Surfing/Board Surfing
There is a school just off the entrance to the beach of Bahia de Arena and many other places along the beaches in Cabarete as it is the Kite Surfing capital of the World! If you are experienced you can rent equipment at the school. One of the leading schools is LEK which is on Cabarete Bay at Millennium Resort, next to Ocean Dream. Look for the pink LEK Flags.
Paradise Island and Lagoon with mangroves forest
The best place for snorkeling and diving in the whole Caribbean, where you will enjoy the biggest and most beautiful coral reefs. Rene at Corales in Punta Rusia will set you up with your tour and while you are away his fisher men will be catching fresh fish that he will cook up for you and when you are done he will have a beautiful spread of fresh lunch or dinner for you.
When seasonal rains make the upper parts of the Yasica and Jamao Rivers too low to go kayaking you can still have a great time in the lower sections of the river. Starting your journey on the east side of Cabarete you can kayak to “La Bocca de Yasica” an area famous for fishing and seafood. You can explore a local beach full of shells and driftwood and even try out surf kayaking.
27 Waterfalls of Damajagua
Nestled in the mountains of the Cordillera Septentrional mountain range lies Dominican Republic’s number one visited attraction. Once you experience the rush of cascading The 27 Waterfalls Damajagua you will know why! Cascading the 27 Waterfalls Damajagua is a day spent in nature including hiking, swimming, jumping, and sliding through a spring fed river canyon, always at the side with an experienced and trained guide. It truly is an unforgettable experience! This tour is a beginner’s tour with a reasonable degree of fitness. Cascading all 27 Waterfalls Damajagua requires a minimum age of 10 years old. If you prefer not spend a full day cascading all 27 Waterfalls Damajagua there is options to visit the first 12 waterfalls in descending (12-1) order. This is a better option for younger adventurers as well. Starting at 8 years old.

Whale Watching with Kim Baddall
Humpback Whales here in Samana Bay, DR. A unique opportunity to observe humpback whales in their natural calving and mating grounds. The Dominican Fisherman runs fishing tours in the ocean and river out of Cabarete. Fish with Cabarete local expert Freddy Suriel. The river Yassica has some of the best Snook fishing in the Caribbean. He is also an amazing chef and will prepare meals in your home for Bahia de Arena clients only. Friday nights he does a TO GO fish fry or you can go and enjoy your meal at the Cabarete Coffee Co. From 5-7 pm. If you are staying in Bahia de Arena your meal can be delivered.
