CASCADING/HIKING
27 waterfalls of Damajagua

Rated: intermediate/advanced hikers

Dig in the sugar cane fields of Puerto Plata and into the hills for an intense climb up the 27 waterfalls of Damajagua. A labyrinth of tunnels, caves and natural pools leads us through a virtual fairy tale land of beauty. Sliding and jumping down is just as much fun. Although this is a non-technical climb, hikers should be aware that it is a physically demanding hike for the upper body, as well as the lower. Swimmers only, please!
Tour includes: transportation, light breakfast & Dominican buffet
What to bring: Lycra clothing, water shoes, waterproof camera, change of clothes, towel

Rappel and jump down beautiful walls of limestone and two perfect waterfalls.

The Pleasure Dome (full day)
Rated: medium level

Rope assisted abseils as high as 300 feet and challenging jumps up to 70 feet into deep pools of crystal clear water, waterslides and fantastic swims in a gorgeous tropical landscape.

3,000 feet Downhill Cruise (half day or full day)

An exhilarating day of fun. Join Iguana Mama and her expert guides on an adventure through the interior of the Dominican Republic. Your chance to get out of the heat and into the heart of the country. After breakfast at the summit of the Cibao Valley, cycle with us down winding mountain roads as we glimpse into one of the most lush valleys in the world. Sample exotic fruits and learn about Dominican culture and vegetation as we bike through Dominican village. After diving into the river Jamao , we make our way up to the hidden Blue Moon Inn for an exquisite pool side East Indian lunch. (The half day tour ends at Jamao River). Tour includes: transportation, breakfast, fruits (and lunch with full day tour)

El Choco loco ride (half day)
Rated: intermediate/advanced riders

For the person with stamina! This ride is a total of 40 km, half of which is off-road. We follow a Dominican back road across the mountains and see rural life in the wooded countryside.

National Park El Choco (8.30 am – 11.30 am)
Rated: all levels – also available as special tour for advanced/expert riders

Explore an incredible 77 square kms of jungle, lagoon, caves, forest and open backcountry. Can there be a better way to learn the Spanish names of various plants, trees and fruits than through smelling, touching, climbing and tasting the real and natural thing. And what about discovering and swimming in a natural cave? Snacks, transportation and entry to the National Park included.
